Budd Lake 2/12/12

We spent seven hours today walking Budd Lake marking out fishing spots for Frost Bite Fishing Tournament that will be held next Sunday.  Chachi and I checked out a lot of new fishing spots and didn't find many fish.  We didn't hook any fish today, but we did find a few new areas that have nice fish structure.

    Looks like we missed you guys by a day. Thanks for the information. We never made it up to the North side of the lake. We were staying on the South side and withouth the Polaris running, we couldn't pull the 2 man and all of our gear that far North. We did find a really nice weed bed on Saturday loaded with perch and blue gills. We too watched a Muskie circle that weed bed the entire time we were there. No luck with the walleye but we did score some decent perch and we also got a 32" pike on a tip up. We had a blast and are already planning the trip next year to Houghton.
